Lisa Bell Chosen as Charlotte Komen’s “Hometown Hero”: Tivoli Partners Receives Recognition at the 10th Annual Ultimate Drive®
Charlotte, NC – March 13, 2006: Breast cancer survivors and supporters cheered "10 Years, 10 Million Miles, 10 Million Dollars!" as they celebrated a decade of fundraising with BMW of North America and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. As a part of this celebration, Tivoli Partners was honored for their pro bono marketing work for Komen Charlotte over the past seven years. Lisa Bell, president of Tivoli Partners, addressed a group of more than 80 at a luncheon on March 9, 2006, at the kickoff of the Ultimate Drive.
“Today we’re united with a common goal,” remarked Bell. “To enjoy a great drive, for an even greater cause. Every mile brings us closer to a cure. Thanks a million to everyone involved in this event. Let’s raise that much, and hopefully more.”
Hundreds of local supporters test drove BMWs and raised $1 for every mile they drove during the event at the Hendrick BMW in Charlotte. Charlotte was the first stop on the 240-city tour that will raise money for breast cancer research, education, screening, and community outreach programs provided by the Komen Foundation.
